I'd like to start this entry by stating again for the record: That I'm no writer.
These entries are likely to be garbled, too drawn out and will never see a thesaurus.
That being said, let us begin, shall we?
Ever since I was born I have heard about ghostly/spiritual events from my family and friends. These stories are of close relation, normally including me being/sleeping in the same house at the same time of the event.
This particular story starts out in what I'll call "The New House". The one my great grandmother left to my mother. It wasn't very spooky until moving day and I heavily suspect that we brought something with us from "The Old House" in the moving trailer.
By the time this story had happened I had long since moved out of the house.
My mother told me that one day while she was still asleep the dogs in the livingroom started to bark like crazy.
Her husband left the bed in his boxers to see what was going on.
To his shock and embarassment there was an elderly lady sitting on the couch. The dogs were barking at her, jumping up beside her and running away, barking some more.
He described her as an old lady with a hair bun.
He assumed he must have left the door unlocked and she was one of my mother's friends. So he ran back into the bedroom to put some pants on.
When he reemerged from the bedroom she was gone.
He doesn't believe in a spirit realm so he doesn't like to talk about this story or even acknowledge it happened anymore.
